BLOM GEOMATICS IS DOUBLING THE DIGITAL AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY CAPACITY 

Blom Geomatics has aquired another Vexcel UltraCam X digital aerial camera. The image format is as large as 14430 x 9420 pixels. Compared to the formerly used film cameras, we are now able to make good recordings under weaker light conditions. This means that we can, to a larger extent, take photographs the whole year around, even during cloudy weather as long as the clouds are above flight level. The new camera was used for the very first time on the 16th of February 2008, covering the Hafjell Ski Resort, Norway. The recordings were done using a ground resolution (GSD) of 20 cm.
