Blom Group companies all have a long tradition of digital mapping using photogrammetric, LiDAR and land survey techniques to produce a variety of data products either under contract or available from our data store.

Blom provides digital topographic mapping services to a variety of national and international mapping agencies, government departments and private sector clients. The Blom Group has gained a reputation for superior quality products and services, strong project management and on-schedule deliveries.

Aerial photography is the traditional basis for many of Blom’s products and services. Large format cameras are mounted in twin-engined aircraft. Images are positioned using Global Positioning System (GPS) with Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) and where available, active networks, providing camera positioning and image orientation data, improving quality and reducing costs.
